Beautiful day.

We had beautiful weather here Monday. About 68, sunny. I mulched the landscaping and trimmed our palm tree. The G needed to help so she put on her "work gwubs," too. In this pic she is painting, or as she says "Doing work something." She's been adding the word something on the end of a lot of her sentences lately. Not sure what that's about. Anyway, we painted the driveway with water for about an hour (you can see the work gloves). We draw silly stuff but also draw shapes, numbers, and letters. Her favorite "shape" is a donut! She gets tangible objects (donut, star, moon, sun, piece of pizza, blocks) much better than the actual shapes (circle, square, triangle). Its great fun and I feel like I'm being a "good mom" by trying to teach her stuff. Plus, Daddy doesn't have to hose it off the driveway like sidewalk chalk!
