Getting hurt when trying to help the environment
OK, so I was trying to be environmentally friendly today by drying the quilt for our bed outside instead of in the dryer. And what do I get for my efforts...bird poop! Seriously. So instead of using the energy to dry the dumb thing, now I have to wash it again AND dry it in the dryer anyway so I can use it tonight. Being green = bah!

Exactly why my environmental concerns are minor compared to some. I use canvas shopping bags,natural light when possible, I walk/run or bike to most errands nearby and lightly recycle (all our recycling in AK has to be put on a barge and shipped out so whats the point?). Other than that...I'm all new age gasoline burning, oil drilling friendly.
